Brad Pitt was recently in new York with son Maddox Jolie-Pitt to receive and award for his humanitarian work with his Make it Right Foundation from the Clinton Global Initiative. Angelina Jolie stayed home in France to tend the other five young children.
That's when the rumors started flying, and news reports from tabloid gossip sources started saying Pitt and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston were actually meeting in secret to have a romantic tryst and for Bad Dad Brad to dish dirt about Angie while he scratched his itch.

(AP Photo/Stephen Chernin)Reports from both Pitt and Aniston's camps say the meeting that supposedly occured at the Essex Hotel while Pitt visited New York City are completely bogus. According to US Weekly, "The alleged rendezvous, at Pitt's Essex Hotel suite near Central Park, "never happened".
The National Ledger confirmed the story being false and went on to write, "The magazine went on to report that Jolie and Pitt are going great guns, and even considering having a seventh child. Pitt and Jolie have said they will not marry while everyone cannot marry, in a reference to the gay marriage movement. Sydney's Channel Nine Hollywood correspondent said that although the report was of the butler-told-the-nanny variety, it was definitely "solid"."
Even SPLASH News (who we like reading very much but are willing to admit readily reports are often just celebrity gossip) says the whole clandestine meeting in NYC between Brad and Jen, DIDN'T HAPPEN! Despite all the reports, Brad Pitt did not seek the counsel of his ex-wife in a New York hotel.
A rep for Jennifer Aniston squashed the reports saying the meeting "never happened" and she is not the shoulder Brad leans on when it comes to his relationship problems.When the tabloids even say a rumor is B.S., you can safely assume (at least regarding this star watcher news report) that the sources who created the story were making up the news for page views only.
