A SECRETARY sacked by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for taking too much sick leave is suing them for £55,000. Ana Charlotiaux worked on the stars’ £20million country estate in the south of France, until February last year. Bilingual Mrs Charlotiaux, 45, was hired to deal with phone and email enquiries at Chateau Miraval in 2008.
But she was sacked for allegedly taking too much time off sick and her lawyer, Emmanuel Ludot, has lodged an unfair dismissal case. “She is not asking for much – just fair compensation for wrongful dismissal,” said Mr Ludot at the hearing. He added that his client had taken around four-and-a-half months off over two years because of illness. Brad, 47, and Angelina, 36, bought the 17th Century Chateau Miraval, set in 400 acres, in 2008. The tribunal will deliver its verdict on Mrs Charlotiaux’s unfair dismissal case in February next year.
