He recently shaved off years - quite literally - when he did away with his salt and pepper beard. But less than a month after his smooth-faced, red carpet appearance for the Hollywood premiere of his movie, The Tree of Life, Brad Pitt has started to sprout himself. The 47-year-old actor was pictured today shooting his new film, World War Z, in Malta, with his facial furniture clearly back in place.

And the result was a more mature-looking Pitt, as opposed to his youthful appearance last month. Brad, along with partner Angelina Jolie and their brood, have relocated to Malta while he films his new post-apocalyptic horror movie. He plays the lead role of role of Max Brooks, an agent of the United Nations Postwar Commission who published a report a decade after the Zombie War.
Brooks scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived the conflict that almost eradicated humanity. The film, directed by Marc Foster, also stars Mireille Enos and Matthew Fox.
Brad and Angie are currently renting an $11million mansion in the Qrenxdi area of the island during their stay, according to Us Weekly magazine. Jolie was seen earlier this week shuffling her kids dressed in fancy dress while toting a Louis Vuitton handbag, the company she has recently becoming face of for their new campaign. Two-year-old Knox wore a lady bird costume while his twin sister Vivienne work a pink princess outfit.
Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, and Shiloh, five, also joined in the fun and were spotted leaving a store with toys in tow. It's been a busy week for Angelina, as she has also found time to travel to Turkey's border with Syria to meet some of the thousands of Syrian refugees who have fled their government's bloody crackdown on dissent. She is an ambassador the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and arrived in the Turkish province of Hatay on a private jet with boxes of toys for the refugee camps. There are nearly 10,000 Syrian refugees in camps inside Turkey.
