Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain in revamped photographs from The Tree of Life: With just two months left before opening in theaters, a whole bunch of new photos have surfaced from Terrance Malick’s upcoming film THE TREE OF LIFE. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain and follows a young boy (Penn) as he grows up and has to deal with the life lessons of his father (Pitt) and mother (Chastain). I’m sure there’s much more to the story but that’s the main topic, THE TREE OF LIFE opens in theaters on May 27, 2011.
From these photos below there is no doubt that this is going to be a beautiful film to watch with lots of beautiful scenery and costumes. These stills bring out the softness of the setting but are still very vibrant. I’m sure this will be one film to look for next award season and you’ll be hearing a lot of good things from critics this summer.For more photos check out the link below.
UPDATE: The suits at Summit have asked me to remove the images because apparently, getting positive publicity for a film that will only appeal to a handful of people is not within their marketing campaign. So best of luck with the link below and we’ll be sure to update when/if Summit realizes that having people interested in their films not called Twilight is actually a good strategy.
