Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had many of the contents of their US home sent to their rented villa in France.

The pregnant actress who is said to be planning a home birth wants everything ready for when she goes into labour. Brad's even had his motorbike brought over.

‘The kids are happy with the seaside being just down the road, and Brad's dying to get out and explore the French countryside on his bike,' says a source.

‘They've just had one of the happiest weeks that they've had together as a family for ages,’ the insider tells E! Online.

Angelina is said to want to give birth in France as a tribute to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who was of French-Canadian descent.

Brad, 44, and Angelina, 32, have daughter Shiloh, 20 months, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.

Home is where the heart is. But it never hurts to have your stuff there, as well.

A source close to the couple tells E! News that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have started importing the little things clothes, toys, the Ducati across the Atlantic after apparently opting to stay put at Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen's villa in Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.

While the couple have been house-hunting in nearby Monte Carlo and logged time this weekend in Nice visiting Bono and The Edge, they're "more than content to just stay put," at least until the birth of their second biological child and fifth overall, the insider said.

"Everything feels right. The kids are happy with the seaside being just down the road and having a pool in the garden, and Brad's dying to get out and explore the French countryside on his bike like he did last summer when they were vacationing in the West of France."

"They've just had one of the happiest weeks that they've had together as a family for ages," the source added.

BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE have hit back at claims their Hollywood neighbours are sick of the tabloid attention they have brought to their exclusive gated community.
Other residents of Los Angeles' exclusive Franklin Village are reported to be "outraged" by the photographers who now swarm around the area, desperate for a glimpse of the couple and their four children.
Website Animalnewyork.com claims a number of homeowners are rallying to try and force the Pitt-Jolie family out of the neighbourhood.
But Pitt doesn't believe the reports - insisting he gets on well with his neighbours.
He tells the New York Post, "This is the first I've heard of this, which tells me it's mostly not true. I have lived and worked in the same location off and on since 1995 and have never had any problems with my neighbours, only paparazzi and those who peddle in sensationalism."
